Break Time

Postby Dasffion » Sun Mar 04, 2012 8:28 pm

I need to take a little break from WoW so I won't be on much the next couple weeks. Going to pick up Final Fantasy XIII-2 and once I beat that or get bored with it I'll be back. I'll probably still log on every day real quick to do Mad's Transmutations and Daslows JC daily but other than that I won't be on.

Final Fantasy 13-2? Really? I'm a bit surprised. If it's anything like Phantasy Star Online, I would be burnt up on the game within a week of endless grinding.

Also, did some fools get on your nerves while healing? Don't hesitate to Sith Lightning their asses!

Have fun with that Das. I got that confused with FFX-2 and thought that didn't seem like the kind of game Das would want to play. It seems more like the kind of game I would (did) play. :)

Not sure why you thought that. I enjoyed FFX-2. Wasn't as good as X but it was decent. I liked the Job system reminded me of FF2. I'm a huge FF fan.

FFX-2 had the whole "Jem and the Holograms" feel. I got into it, but it felt like I was an 8 year old girl at times.

Yeah I'm glad WoW never makes you question your gender like that...

w0000t my Druid just got new shoes AND a new 20 slot bag! Score!!

... I retract my previous statement.

haha...No I'm just a guy with the body of a 90 year old whos mind alternates between that of an 8 year old girl and a 14 year old boy. But I think that I'm not the only one around here like that ;)

I'm thinking of a girl going to the mall and buying a new purse and shoes. Just a random thought I'm sure it has nothing to do with Hogger's Druid.

OK, I get that you were making a gender joke.
But my question is...Do you need more and better bags, or was this purely a joke?

Because I can have my Blood Elf who is currently wearing a gown, sew you up a nice purse if you like.

Ooops, that may have sounded bad. ;)

But seriously, if you need bags, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Das, you will be missed. Be sure to keep us privy to your activities here.
I will be sad not VP capping with one of your several characters.
But if/when Balador dings 85 while you are gone, I will save my best tanking for you.
Porbably because I will suck for the first while of tanking.
;)

And if you no longer want to do the transmutes while on break, send me back the mats and I can get it taken care of.
Your call, Thanks.

Oh I didn't think it was sexist at all. It sounded more like you like cross-dressing which I'm totally fine with. :D

Nice, sounds like you're asking for more more more stuff. ;)

BTW Das, I might look into FFXIII2 as well, later... Maybe. You see, only one more month and I get to play WoW. ^_^

I don't mind. Like I said I'll still be logging on every day to do the JC daily because it takes way to long to get the recipes and I can't take a break from that if I still have an active account. It won't take long to hop onto Akosi to do your transmutes too.

We'll see come Saturday if I can stay away though. I might be tempted to hop on and cap valor. We'll see.

Whatever works.
If you think you will be AFK more often than not for a bit, let me know if you would
like me to be the GM until you or GS officially return to active duty.

I don't have a problem giving up the GM spot if one of the other Captains want it but as I said this isn't a break like the one I took to play SWTOR. I'll still be logging in everyday and I'll still be on the forums.

By the way Das, is your dog (or dogs?) waking you up still? How come? What sneaky things are they or is s/he doing?

Eam got up with them this morning. We got a shock collar for him (don't judge) that I've been hesitant to use but she put it on him this morning and it seemed to work. As for "how come" just because he's a little stinker. He knows barking will get me up and get him out of the crate. He has to be in the crate or he'll go to the bathroom on the floor.
